Remember, today is the last day to change your party registration, if you are so inclined, to still participate in the March caucuses.

Yep, finally did it. Went from the big U to the big D.
Now can those who know more about teh politics than I do, tell my how governor ?primaries? would go down, if there was another candidate?
Anyone know when the other CD7’s people numbers are coming out?
Frankly, Erin, I’m not sure anybody “knows more about politics” than you do. I disagree with practically everything you write, including “a, and the” but would hardly accuse you of being unknowledgable. If it’s the democratic primary you’re talking about, elections are like football: If we knew how the game would come out, there’d be no point in playing it.
Actually, belay the football metaphor. I’m still in mourning from Sunday! But what the hell, Go Steelers 😉

To the victors belong the spoils, Big Ben. As a charter AFL fan, I still root for the AFC side in the Super Bowl. It actually doesn’t make much sense this year, since Pittsburgh was an NFL team before the merger and the Sea Sicks were not just in our conference but our division until this year. But what the hell, Go AFC, Go Steelers!
EMRosa:
To be involved with the selection of the Dem. candidates for Gov., you will need to go first to your precinct caucus on 21 Mar. (I seem to recall you saying before you were in Denver, e-mail me with your address or precinct and I can tell you where your caucus is).
At your caucus you will need to be selected to be a delegate to the County Assembly (8 Apr) and at the County Assembly be selected a delegate to the State Assembly (20 May in Greeley). At the State Assembly, we will nominate the candidates for Gov. and the other statewide offices and then vote on them. Any candidate who gets more than 30% of the vote will be on the primary ballot.
Getting selected as a delegate is pretty easy. Typically there are more slots to fill than people who want to fill them.
If you have any other details, feel free to e-mail me as I do some the caucus organizing for Denver Dems. email: dan@votedanwillis.com
